In 2001 PM Switchboards were contracted to manufacture 38 Main Switchboards for the new Global Switch Data Centre in Sydney.
Key Challenges
To design and manufacture a fully modular switchboard system with the facility to remove, replace or upgrade power supply circuit breakers in perfect safety without the need to isolate the power supply.
Our design was developed around the “Totally Flexible MCCB Stack”. This design has provided a highly safe working environment.
Our current upgrade is for 24 additional 3000Amp tiers fitted with 144 x 250Amp outgoing circuits and 30 x Power Distribution Switchboards fitted with 7,200 x 20Amp circuits.
