Brief Scope of the Project
- Design and manufacture of 15 Motor Control Centres up to 5,000Amps
- 7 demountable mining spec switchrooms.
- In all a total of 165 switchboard tiers or approximately 280 metres in length. MCC’s rated at 80ka fault level, Form 4 segregation, IP54 in a back to back arrangement with front access.
Key challenges
To meet strict Mining and MCC safety parameters, tight delivery schedules and to coordinate other trades such as building manufacture, fire protection etc within a 26 week time frame.
