Key Challenges
To provide two medium/ low voltage switchrooms which were aesthetically pleasing and that provided a quality outcome at competitive price levels.
The switchrooms were completely fitted out with the specified medium voltage switchgear. The switchrooms for this project also contained dry type transformers and ring main units.
The main substation switchroom was segregated into 3 separate rooms to allow for the medium voltage switchgear and transformer, a communications room as well as a separate room and access for the local power provider, Energex.
The switchrooms were completely fitted out and wired up in the factory and transported to site for minimal on site works to take place.
